Bless this home interchangeable door hanger - SVG ONLY

This is a digital file only, not a finished product. It was designed to fit a 16in door round. 

WHAT YOU NEED

-16 in door round. I purchase mine from etsy or craftdealz.

-3 sheets of 1/4 Purebond Maple Plywood

-3m adhesive or glue

-Paint or stain of choice for round and interchangeable circles. I used white spray paint for this particular one. 

-Paint markers or however you choose to paint the portions for the season. These are the markers I used in the example pictured.

-Ribbon of your choice. I used both a burlap and a buffalo plaid ribbon. Both of which I purchased from amazon. Here are the links

-Greenery (I picked this particular greenery up at our local Walmart)

-magnet strips or command strips I get the magnet strips from amazon. Or the command strips from Walmart. Here is the link for the magnets

INSTRUCTIONS

-You will need a total of 3 sheets of material but the 3rd sheet you are using very minimal so you could try and fit the last few items on scraps if you would like! Mask all 3 sheets and if you are using 3m adhesive you will want to place the 3m on two of the three sheets. You will not need adhesive for the sheet that will contain the interchangeable circles. 

-Cut all 3 sheets. When you open up the file itself in a web browser it will show you that part of the file is black, and part is red. You will not be able to see these colors when you upload to your laser software so if you aren't sure of which needs to be cut and which needs to be scored you can open these in your web browser to check!

                   -You set the black to cut and the red to score. The scoring portion is the detailing on 4 of the season pieces (like the detail on the sunflower). 

-I use medium draftboard settings for the material listed in the supplies. But I change the speed to 145. Please make sure to do a small test cut on your material before doing a large project. Depending on the material you choose, cleanliness of your machine and many other factors, your cut settings may be different. You can do a test cut to see if you should adjust your settings. 

-Once all pieces are cut out you will use the markers to paint your seasonal pieces and spray paint/paint/stain the 12 circles. I use the paint markers listed in the supplies. I like to use a mixture of the regular paint markers and the alcohol markers to get a variety of looks and textures on my pieces. 

-Peel of the 3m adhesive backing and stick each of the 12 seasonal pieces to their circle and the words to the round. If you are using glue instead of 3m just place the glue and make sure to give it enough time to dry.

-To attach the interchangeable pieces to your door round you can use either command strips or magnets. I prefer magnets but I will do command strips from time to time as well. Regardless of which one you choose you will cut the magnets or strips to desired size and place on the back of each of the 12 interchangeable pieces and to the center portion of the O in Home. 

-Attach the bow and greenery. I do this using a staple gun but you can also super glue them instead. I just feel the staple gun gives a better hold.
